Small Space, Big Location The Alley Haus is compact and doesn’t have a traditional living room. It’s best suited for guests who want a comfortable place to sleep, cook, and head out to explore Austin rather than spend a lot of time indoors. The space has two twin beds, a full kitchen, and the essentials for a short stay. Photos are true to life, so please be sure the size works for your group before booking as we want you to have the BEST trip to Austin! Bathroom Step There is a 12-inch step up into the bathroom. If anyone in your party has mobility concerns, please keep this in mind-we want everyone to feel safe and comfortable. Heating & Cooling The guesthouse has a full-size wall unit that provides both heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort. Coffee Starter We provide a small starter supply of coffee, cream, and sugar. That said, you’re surrounded by great cafés within walking distance if you feel like mixing things up-Jo’s, The Meteor, Bouldin Creek Cafe, Swedish Hill Cafe, and The Salty Donut are all nearby. Groceries An H-E-B is less than a mile away if you want to grab snacks, drinks, or anything else during your stay. For extra peace of mind, we highly recommend purchasing trip insurance.
